NEW BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE Over the next few weeks we shall be developing an online version of the book on the altar at the Patriarch's private Chapel in Church House. A Panakhida is said every year on the Saturday closest to US Indpendence Day for those on the list. Please advise by way of the Guestbook if you have people you would like to see added. 24 HOUR DEDICATED PRAYER LINE TEL: (0044)7758 082339 ANYTIME Here is our online Chapel. As you can see there is a separate candle burning on the Altar to the Gospel and Epistle Candles (the one to the right of the cross). IT NEVERS GOES OUT! Just like the love of God and the light of the Holy Spirit in all our lives. This is our 'focus' candle. Do you have things on your mind? Do you have need of answers? Are you (or anyone you know) suffering at this time through thought, word or deed? Do you just need some 'you' time?
Then why not spend a few moments now, with all the distractions around you melting into the background, and focus all your thoughts and needs on that candle. Say a prayer if you like, and one appears further down to help you if you need, but all you really need to do is focus all your intentions, needs and hopes on that flame, and allow the Spirit of God to do the rest.
May the divine light rest on the altar of your heart, placed there by the Sophia of her inviolable and supreme grace; the Holy Spirit of God.
Family Prayers Often it can be lonely praying in isolation. Be assured that in ICSJ we often pray alone as we are separated by distance, sometimes vast.
However, we never feel on our own in ICSJ. For two reasons....
1/. We are a family that worships together in our hearts and minds. Even though we may not do it collectively all that often, even when we feel at our lowest, we KNOW there are similar family members around the world joining in thoughts and meditations upon God, and we know we are not alone.
2/. We are never alone with God. At our moments of greatest triumph in life, and equally when we are seemingly so low we have no further to fall emotionally or physically, God our divine and supreme parent is by our side.
Whatever your situation, whatever has drawn you to this prayer room, know one thing....
YOU ARE NEVER ALONE!
WELCOME HOME!

Many great and wise people find peace and tranquillity on the beach or near water. There is a symbolism in the ebb and flow of a tide or a running river that reminds us of the healing and cleansing power of the Spirit of God that is waiting to run through us when we call upon it.
Let the purity of the image flow through you as you meditate on the natural beauty of God's divine and forgiving, all embracing love.

This is Sophie, our angel of wisdom and love. She offers you this message...
"The answer to your prayers lies within you, where the temple of the divine resides. Go to your higher self and be inspired from The Word that springs forth. You are loved beyond price and He hears all"
So, ready to give your thoughts a breathing space and let God hear? Here are a couple of familiar prayers that may help, or simply just focus on the candle and ……..
Let go and LET GOD! (White Eagle) A Prayer for Unity We raise our hands and hearts to you, O YHWH, and to your Son

you by a different name and discern you in a different light;

your entire far-flung universe of earthlings, saints and stars:
One true GOD, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, world without end.
Amen.

The Family Prayer of Jesus of Nazareth
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. AMEN.

A thought from the Koran
"give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Those who say, when afflicted with calamity, 'To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return.' They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the ones who receive guidance." (2:155-157)
A Jewish blessing request "The King Who rules over kings, in His compassion may He sustain them and protect them from every trouble, woe and injury.May he rescue them and put into their heart and into the heart of all their counsellors compassion to do good with us and with all
